ISRAEL : there is a whole story behind this photo and these women. The 4 religious ladies are the wives of Daniel Ambash, a well-known dancer, from France, currently serving a prison term accused of slavery, sexual offenses and economic exploitation of his family. The Ambash family is considered by the authorities as a sect. The Court decision considers those women as victims but still put them in jail (because any modern democracy, like Israel claims to be, throws the victims of slavery in jail after having beaten and threatened them) ! Their children were taken away from them and were placed in shelters. Since their release, after they were declared innocent (I repeat INNOCENT !) by the court, they fight back to prove that the case against them was made up by the police, the Prosecutor and the social workers. In this fight they asked my legal assistance. After having investigated a LOT on the case, I accepted, obviously NOT for the money, but for one main reason: it's very easy to manipulate the public by presenting people like monsters, especially in such context. The whole process was deeply flawed (including the investigations, the various trials and the rest). The story reminds me a book of Kafka. There are so many irregularities that any normal person could think "oh this cannot be happening" but still it does happen and just in front of our eyes. A whole State machine against one single family.

בישראל: מאחורי התמונה הזו והנשים הללו מסתתר סיפור שלם. 4 הנשים, דתיות, הן נשותיו של דניאל אמבש, רקדן ידוע מצרפת, שכיום מרצה עונש מאסר באשמת עבדות, עבירות מין וניצול כלכלי של משפחתו. משפחת אמבש נתפסת על ידי הרשויות בתור כת. החלטת בית המשפט רואה את אותן הנשים כקורבנות, אך עדיין מכניסה אותן לכלא (כי כל דמוקרטיה מודרנית, כמו שישראל מתיימרת להיות, זורקת קורבנות עבדות לכלא לאחר שסבלו מכות ואיומים!). ילדיהן נלקחו מהן והושמו במקלטים. מאז שחרורן, ולאחר שהוכרזו כחפות מפשע (שוב- חפות מפשע!) על-ידי בית המשפט, הן נלחמות בחזרה כדי להוכיח שהתיק נגדן הורכב על ידי המשטרה, הפרקליטות והעובדים הסוציאליים. במאבקן זה הן ביקשו את הסיוע המשפטי שלי. לאחר שחקרתי רבות את המקרה החלטתי לקבלו, ודאי שלא עבור הכסף, אלא מסיבה אחת עיקרית: זה קל מאוד לתמרן את הציבור על-ידי הצגת אנשים כמו מפלצות, במיוחד בהקשר כזה. התהליך כולו היה פגום מאוד (כולל החקירות, הדיונים השונים ועוד). הסיפור הזה מזכיר לי ספר של קפקא. יש כאן כל-כך הרבה אי-סדרים שכל אדם נורמלי חושב "אוי, לא יכול להיות שזה קורה", אבל זה כן קורה, וממש מול העיניים שלנו. כל סוכנויות המדינה כנגד משפחה אחת.
